For its first performance in an enticing series of concert for 2015, the choir will traverse the magical splendour of Vaughan Williams’ In Windsor Forest, the ethereal beauty and intensity of Whitacre’s Lux Aurumque, the intriguing and rambunctious cycle of Gyspy Songs by Brahms, as well as the beautifully crafted Missa Brevis St Joannis de Deo (the “Little Organ Mass”) by Haydn. This evening of beautiful music will see the choir joined by a string orchestra and MonUCS’ new chief conductor, Robert Dora.
