Join Monash University Choral Society as they present Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado, the tale of Nanki-Poo, the 2nd trombone with a secret identity, Yum-Yum, Nanki-Poo’s love and the little maid from school, Ko Ko, Yum-Yum’s guardian, betrothed, and Lord High Executioner, Pooh-Bah, the person with more titles than sense, Katisha, Nanki-Poo’s betrothed, and, of course, the Mikado himself! Semi-staged and with a modern twist, …if intrigue with more than a hint of hilarity is your cup of tea, then this is the operetta for you!
