Here at MonUCS, we are proud to announce that we are participating in ACU’s BIG SING for a BIG CAUSE, featuring the 10th anniversary performance of STREET REQUIEM – For Those Who Died On The Street. Tickets for the Ballarat performance may be purchased here and tickets for the Melbourne performance may be purchased here.
STREET REQUIEM is a beautiful piece co-created by Kathleen McGuire, Jonathon Welch and Andy Payne in 2014, written to honour everybody who has died on the streets. This project in particular aims to advocate for people who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity by raising awareness and funds for organisations and services that directly assist people experiencing these struggles.
Ballarat performance:
Date: Saturday 24th August, 4pm
Location: Performing Arts Center at St Patrick’s College, Ballarat (2 Wanliss Rd, Newington)
